Dress to Impress
Applying for a job can seem like an insurmountable challenge to a woman who is new in recovery. A low self image can be turned around in an instant with the proper clothing attire to wear to an interview. When a woman has a nice outfit to wear, her self-esteem is lifted giving her the self-confidence to succeed. As part of our job preparedness initiative, we will outfit women with age appropriate business attire to help them make the move toward self-sufficiency.
Do you have gently used business clothing attire you wish to donate or a flair for decorating? Our vision is for a fresh and fun boutique style, look with wardrobes, shelving, baskets, clothing racks, mirrors, furniture and lighting. Your help is needed with setting up this area in our center. Now collecting gently, used business clothing attire donations. Please call our center to schedule a pick-up or drop-off.
Our gratitude goes to the amazing people at the Raynham Branch - Rockland Trust Bank for all their help in bringing attention to our new job assistance initiative. For two weeks we had a table set up in the lobby. Some beautiful outfits were collected and our women will benefit greatly through your generosity! Please consider donating items and/or funds to this worthy cause!
